Who We Are

Annapolis Youth Lacrosse (AYL) is a recreational youth lacrosse program serving the Annapolis and Anne Arundel County communities.

With a staff made up of former NCAAA collegiate and professional lacrosse players, the AYL’s goal is to offer an affordable option for players of all skill-level to have an opportunity to participate in the sport, regardless of financial or other socio-economic barriers.

Further, the AYL will work to grow the sport and introduce lacrosse to new generations of athletes and preserve the integrity of not only the game, but the overall advancement of the sport. ​

AYL is a recreational Youth Lacrosse Program serving families in the city of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County.
AYL main Season is the Spring Season. This is when we will have teams that practice and play twice a week. We also host some Clinics and Camps in the Fall, Winter & summer.
AYL is not a Club Lacrosse Program. We do not Host Teams in the Summer, Fall and Winter. We are a recreational youth Program and only host teams during the spring season.
We are a non for profit program and do everything at Cost.
AYL is not Affiliated with True Lacrosse. The Co Founder of True Lacrosse Jake Deane and his wife Sophia Deane are both Annapolis Natives and grew up playing youth lacrosse in the Annapolis Community. They founded AYL to provide kids from all demographics in Annapolis the opportunity to play lacrosse.
Yes. AYL will provide Sticks for all players that need sticks. We do not provide the other equipment.
We practice at Germantown Elementary School or Bates Middle School.
We go from Pre-K up to 8th Grade.
Yes, we offer a boys and girls Program.
All Coaches have played at the NCAA or Professional Level.
